About Herts Pet Services
Herts Pet Services is run by myself Angela Wright. I have a great deal of knowledge and experience with a wide variety of animals. I am registered with NARDS (Nationwide Associates of Registered Dog Sitters) and fully insured and CRB checked for your peace of mind.
I am trained to degree level in Animal Management.
I have worked with Rescue and Rehabilitation centres, Zoological parks, Kennels and Catteries, Equine Centres and Riding Schools.
I also have qualifications in Advanced Animal Handling (including wild animals and exotics).
A course in Canine Psychology and Behaviour has also been completed.
I have also attended and completed several Dog Trainer and Aggression Courses and Seminars with one of the UK's leading dog trainers Steve Mann. As well as attending Seminars with top international trainer Geert de Bolster.
I now solely run Herts Pets Services full time as I love animals and enjoy spending my days caring for them.
I rent 13 acres of land a few minutes from home which is great for walking the dogs - all private so there is not the worry of meeting other unknown dogs.
I am also lucky to be close to lots of other great areas for walks for a bit of variety!
I have a small crossbreed dog called Ralph, who is great with all dogs - small and large. He is a great playmate for other friendly dogs. Ralph has a qualification as a PAT dog (Pets As Therapy).
Also, a fairly new addition to the family is a Standard Poodle named Bella. Pictured below posing with Ralph at 5 months old. Bella being a very good natured one year old has helped me in my training of dogs who are not 100% comfortable around other dogs.
The other members of the family are the two ferrets called Charlie and Harry, a hand-reared skunk called Kevin and two horses Rupert and Starsky. Animals are my passion in life!
